There are images of students who have either achieved something or are working hard on a project or computer. In every picture the students seem happy and interactive in some way. They use Virginia tech maroon and orange showing Hokie spirit. They also use blue on the sidebar to contrast the maroon and orange to direct you to other sites. The Virginia tech site is very easily navigable, and if you can’t find what you are looking for there is a search box in the right top hand corner. The headline says Virginia tech, invent the future; this is the biggest text on the screen. The website also has quick links and my VT. This homepage would either appeal to people researching the college or students that already go here. I go to the homepage if I’m searching for any information on tech that I do not already know. The homepage says that Virginia teach is a place full of students that love what they do and how they are accomplishing their degree. The site says that Virginia Tech is a place to “invent the future.”
